Fisher Heights, City View and Skyline usually see about 30-50 home sales per year with a low of 21 in 2011 and a high of 59 in 2000. Fisher Heights
With a population of approximately 6,408, Fisher Heights is primarily a residential neighbourhood located south of Baseline Road, west of Fisher Avenue, east of Merivale Road and north of Meadowlands Drive, and close to many of amenities located on Baseline Road like Walmart, Loblaws and Food Basics grocery stores. This neighbourhood is also home to the Ottawa Islamic School on Coral Avenue and is a short drive or bus ride away from Carleton University. Recreation nearby includes Fisher Heights Park, Vincent Massey Park, the Rideau Canoe Club and Mooney’s Bay.
Skyline
With a population of approximately 2,641, Skyline is a smaller neighbourhood is located north of Meadowlands Drive, west of Merivale Road, east of Fisher Avenue and south of Baseline Road. Mostly residential homes with a 12-storey high-rise condominium and townhomes built by Minto. This community is close to the Emerald Plaza and the Meadowlands Mall that features a public library, Staples, PetSmart and Movati Athletic fitness club.
City View
With a population of approximately 3,300, City View is a small residential neighbourhood located between St. Claire Gardens and Skyline. It is a short drive or bus ride to Algonquin and College Square. Residents have access to a number of amenities located along Baseline Road and Merivale Road. There is no shortage of green space with a number of parks such as St. Nicholas Park, Starwood Park, City View Park and Doug Frobel Park in and around the neighbourhood. They have an active Community Association to allow residents to engage in community activities and participate future planning.
