About New Edinburgh / Lindenlea
Only three kilometers from Parliament Hill, New Edinburgh-Lindenlea has a population of approximately 3,500 people. It is considered to be a more affluent neighbourhood. This quieter neighbourhood is made up of residential detached, town homes, and smaller apartment buildings with larger condominium buildings currently under construction.
The Governor General lives here in Rideau Hall and Prime Minister of Canada resides here as well at 24 Sussex Drive. There are a number of embassies throughout the neighbourhood as well.
