About Qualicum

Qualicum-Graham Park or Qualicum as it's known, is named after Qualicum Beach in BC. Qualicum is comprised of two distinct neighbourhoods: Graham Park to the east and Bruce Farm to the west.

It's located in the far west of Ottawa and sits just south of the Queensway, east of Richmond Road, north of Baseline Road and west of Morrison Drive. Just to the west of this neighbourhood is the Queensway Carleton Hospital.

This neighbourhood is comprised of large executive homes with a population of approximately 1,720 residents. The streets are largely named after Aboriginal Peoples and towns in British Columbia such as Esquimalt Avenue, Kitimat Crescent, Mohawk Crescent and Nanaimo Drive.

In 2015, Kitsilano Park was built on the former school grounds of Graham Park Public School. You'll find custom homes as well as tract homes built by Minto, Teron and Campeau with some of the most unique examples of mid-century homes.

Amenities include Bayshore Shopping Center, Pinecrest Mall, College Square located on Baseline Road, and the Valley Stream Tennis Park and Tennis Club. Plenty of green space too with Morrison Park to the west and Mohawk Park just north of the neighbourhood.

The area just east is Redwood Park. Walk south and you're in the Leslie Park neighbourhood. You have easy access to the 417 or Highway 416 South.

Schools in the area include:

  • Our Lady of Peace Catholic School (Bells Corners, adjacent)
  • Knoxdale Public School
  • St. Paul's High School
  • Franco Ouest High School
  • Sir Robert Borden High School
  • Bell High School
